PR015-23603-R01 Remediation Options for Negative Installation Effects
Abstract
This project evaluated different options to remediate the effects of velocity profile disturbances on the performance of ultrasonic flow meters. The project focused on practical and cost-effective remediation approaches that could be applied to existing installations with a default AGA-9 meter run. In addition, this project explored the diagnostics from the flow meters to determine ways to proactively identify flow meters in the field that could benefit from the developed remediation techniques.
