PHMSA Requests Full Proposal for SCC-4-5 Ethanol Project
In November 2008, PRCI submitted a white paper proposal for SCC-4-5 Determine New Design and Construction Techniques for the Transportation of Ethanol and Ethanol / Gasoline Blends in New Pipelines. In early March PHMSA requested a final proposal for the project that will be submitted by Electricore on April 17, 2009. The two-year project is estimated to cost about $1M with DOT funding $500K with PRCI providing a combination of cash and in-kind co-funding. We believe the project will be awarded in the July/August time frame.
